During Marach and April a total of seven animals reportedly contracted the disease - two skunks, two dogs, one cow, one calf and one fox. Dr. E.V. Jeszenka, director of the Bureau of Animal Industry, urged that extreme care be exercised in approaching wild and stray animals.
