Ph. 397-3539 NOTICE Six Lancaster County 4-H’ers will be participating in State 4—H Capitol Days in Harrisburg May 8-9 County delegates selected to attend the event are: Debra Gregory, Lititz- Agness Gibson, Lancaster; Linda Stoltzfus, Mount Joy; Nelson Martin, East Earl; Carlton Mack, Lancaster, and David Hitler, Peach Bottom Delegates from the Com monwealth's. 67 counties will meet with government officials, including Governor Shapp, ob serve the Sentate and House of Representatives while in session, and tour the State Capitol and William Penn Museum. Local lawmakers will be guests of the county delegation at a special breakfast on May 9. At this function, 4—H members and Holstein 4-H Club Meeting The second meeting of the Lancaster County 4-H Holstein Club was called to order by the vice president, Darryl Bollinger, at the Farm and Home Center. Songs were led by the song leader. Alan Bair, assistant Lancaster County ag agent, handed out enrollment cards to those who had not been at the first meeting and told them to pick up project books before they went home. Comments were given by the Club leaders. Mr. Bair told the Club some advantages of being a junior member of the Holstein Association. He also told some of the activities offered to boys and girls who are owners of Purebred Holsteins.
