The subject of the seminar was “Your Child One to Six.” Those attending the meeting from the Lancaster County Extension office were Miss Joan Lucas, assistant Extension home economist; Mrs. Susan Doyle, Extension assistant, and Mrs. Tillie Gibson, nutrition aide supervisor. Chester County participants at the seminar were Mrs. Carol R. Rothermel, assistant Extension home economist and Keith A. Howe, nutrition assistant. Included in the seminar were workshops and discussions dealing with factors affecting the preschool child’s development. Topics considered included home environment, role of the com munity, clothing, crafts and play activities, and a basic un derstanding of the physical emotional, social and intellectual development of the young child.
