—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, February 26, 1972 32 Saddle Cinches Club Meets The Saddle Cinches 4-H Horse and Pony Club held its first meeting of the year February 18 at the home of Maragaret Keeny. The meeting was called to order by the president, Lori Zerphy. Attending the meeting were eight members, two parents, one teen leader and two adult leaders, for a total of 13. Under old business was discussion of the December roller skating party and the planning for a future square dance. Under new business were: an open horse show, a Gymkana, different types of trips and ac tivities, dues for this year which were voted at $l. Money raising ideas for this year were also discussed, in cluding recycling of glass and aluminum, bake sales, and a square dance. Nominations and elections will be held next month. Conservation Meet Reset The Northern 4-H Soil and Water Conservation Club has rescheduled its reorganizational meeting to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 in the Cloisterdale Farms conference room. Cloisterdale Farm is located north of Ephrata. Take Route 222 to Messick Chevrolet, turn left on Schoeneck Road, about one-and one-half miles to Cloisterdale’s L. M. Shaffer Poultry Farm.
