He joined the former New Holland Machine Co. in 1941 shortly after its purchase and reorganization by a group of Lancaster County businessmen. New Holland Division of Sperry Rand Corp. will honor five em ployes who have completed 25 years of service with the com pany this month. They are; John H. Kissinger, 150 W. Roseville Road, Lancaster, a processing engineer; Harold E. Stuber, Queen Street, Schoeneck, a stock selector; Paul S. Lausch, Box 51, Bird-in-Hand, a Heald borematic operator; Richard D. Plank, 277 W Main St, New Holland, an accountant, and Aldus L Witman, Blue Ball, a welder semi-automatic. All joined the company in January of 1947. They will each be awarded an inscribed watch or clock by the company to com memorate the anniversary. In addition, men and boys who have achieved unusual distinc tion m agriculture and rural life will receive the highest honors which the FFA can confer at the state level when the Penn sylvania Association of FFA stages its Farm Show Convention in the Forum of the Education Building on Wednesday af ternoon In appreciation of assistance they have given to the FFA, the convention will confer honorary Keystone Farmer degrees upon 26 businessmen, farmers, school administrators and teachers, and to the fathers of seven FFA State Officers and four regional vice presidents, and to the fathers of three or more sons who have earned the Keystone Farmer degree. Daniel S. Erb of Lan caster County will be receiving the award for his fifth son. Certificates also will be awarded to officers’ mothers. Eight organizations will receive citations in recognition of their support of FFA. The recognition and awards convention will be conducted by the State FFA president, Doyle Waybright, Gettysburg RD2, and his fellow state officers. Elmer Delp Retires Elmer Z. Delp, who has been a key figure in the marketing success of the New Holland Division of Sperry Rand since its reorganization in the early 1940’5, has retired after 40 years of service. Thomas Beaver Jr, vice president and general manager of New Holland’s North American Division, said Delp will continue as a consultant on New Holland’s marketing activities. “Mr. Delp played an important role in the formation and development of our marketing programs and organization,” Beaver said. “We are most pleased he has agreed to continue to serve New Holland in an ad visory capacity.” 25-Year Men Retire ROACHES FLEAS - TICKS RATS or MICE J.
