Honey Prices Drop Wholesale honey prices re ceived by Pennsylvania apiansts last year averaged 16 cents a pound, down 2 cents from 1969 prices, according to the State Ci op Reporting Service. Honey production amounted to 3 8 million pounds, 12 per cent more than in 1969 Yield per colony was 39 pounds, the high est since 1964 Beeswax pro duction totaled 67,000 pounds, down 7,000 pounds from 1969.
