S Department of Agriculture recently announced that poultry plants operating wholly within 14 States will be subject to Federal poultry in spection, effective Jan 2 The 14 States had requested Federal inspection or indicated they did not feel there was enough poultry business in their States to warrant establishing inspection systems. The States are- Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, and West Virginia.
