Farm Women SOCIETY i The Society of Farm Women 1 heard several reports at its recent meeting at the home of Mrs. Neil Clark. Presiding at the meeting was Mrs. Scott Carman. The singing was led by Mrs. Roy Brubaker and Mrs. Graybill Hoi linger presented the devotions The group answered roll call by naming the president in office when they were born. Mis. Koliinger, vice piesident, reported on the executive board meeting she had attended on Feb. 3. She announced that a Spring Rally has been planned at Cumberland County, a bus tup will be taken to the flower show at Philadelphia on March 18, a request is being made for contributions for scholarships for Home Ec students and that the county project for the year may be selected from the Cone stoga Valley Assn or the Embre ville State Hospital It was also noted that the Milton Hershey School Boys Choir will present a progiam at the Lampeter-Sti as hing High School on Feb. 24 The society selected Conestoga Valley Assn as their project Mrs Daniel Brubaker, Mrs Martin Moore and Mis Amos Shenk gave reports. Mrs. John Newcomer announced that a bus trip has been set for Society 1 to visit the Governor’s Mansion and Capitol on June 24. Persons interested in going may contact Mrs. Newcomer. A covered dish, all day sewing meeting will be held at the home of Mis. Clayton Sangrey, Lititz R 2, on Thursday, February 19 The group will make bed pads for Luther Acres The next meeting will be held on March 7 at T3O p m at the home of Mrs. Newcomer.
