Photo Small Game Season To Open November 1 Pennsylvania's regular small game season will open on Satur day, November 1, at 9 a.m. EST. ■Game Commission Executive Director Glenn L. Bowers cau tions all hunters 10 observe the opening hour on November 1. The entire state will be operating on Eastern Standard Time, so (there should be no confusion on the 9 a.m. starting time. } Species which will become legal targets on November 1 in clude cottontail rabbits, male ringneck pheasants, wild turkeys and bobwhite quail. The early small game season for grouse and squirrels opened- October 18. The seasons for all of these species, except turkeys, will con tinue through November 29. Tur key season ends on November 27 in the northcentral part of the state and on November 15 in the remainder of the common wealth All pre-season reports indicate ■there will be an adequate supply of all small game species. The Kiwanis Club bought the birds and presented the trophies at their regular- meeting at the Club. Neigh was the speaker at the noon luncheon. Mike and Doris were also nam ed the top winners respectively in record book scores. They were followed by Sue Hershey, Robert Miller, Paul Miller, Nancy De long, Stanley Miller, Tod Herr, Grace Ann Delong, Mary Ellen Delong, and Mike Grube.
