SHARP In the air-conditioned Sales Pavilion, Route Lancaster, Pa. 32 COWS 10 BRED & 15 OPEN HEIFERS T.B, & Bangs Celt. _ Vaccinated Mr. Maule started this herd some 25 yeais ago in part neiship with Mr. Townsend, and after the latter died, took over full operation of this fine dairy farm and purebred Guernsevs. It is with great reluctance that the Maules are selling the cattle, but due to shortness of help and the farm is up for sale, this move has become necessary. It is a strong, fall freshening herd with 15 head fresh or due in July and August, and 15 more fresh October through December. Unfortunately, there are no records on the cattle, but they have been making a good living for the Maules. They have adhered to strict culling. . Curtiss Candy breeding has been used almost exclusive ly, and you will find 24 different “Curtiss Candy” sires in the pedigrees. Eight of their most popular recent bulls are service sires. ~ , , The cattle are in fine condition. We can particularly recommend the heifers, which are well grown and of very plciisiiis type.
