King St. At a recent meeting, the group named two delegates to the state convention to be held in Harrisburg Jan. 13. Attend ing will be Mrs. Phares Leed and Mrs. John Oenlinger, elect ed delegates, and Mrs. Ervin Brown, society president. Mrs. Mark Myer was wel comed as a new member at the meeting. The society will hold its an nual family Christmas Party, starting with a covered dish supper, at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Smoketown Elementary School. Society 19 A show, tell and do hobby show was featured by Society of Farm Women 19 as they talked about crewel, flower arrangements, both dry and fresh, and other hobbies such as crocheting, sewing and knit ting. For extra enjoyment, Mrs. Henry Lehman presented a book review on “Take My Hands” by Dorothy Clark Wilson. The meeting was held at the home of Mrs Earl Stauffer, East Petersburg, with Mrs. John Bare as co-hostess.
