Stevens Dairymen Dairy Cow Judging Contest, he has placed first in his chapter with 476 points out of a possible 500. He also has done well judging live dairy cattle, placing 4th m 'the State FIFA Dairy Judging thus sum mer at Penn State and then went on to the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield. He has placed high in county land judging and was a dele gate to the county FFA Martin has carried tobacco and corn projects and now has a pen of Yorkshire shoats (he’s hoping the market price stays up) beside his dairy project. He is an active member of the youth group of the Weaver land Mennonite Church The son of Mr. and Mrs Wal ter S. Martin, East Earl Rl, Linford keeps his projects on his father’s farm occupied by his brother Walter Clair Mar tin. _They have 94 acres and raise corn, wheat, barley and alfalfa The farm is located one mile south of Blue Ball. Martin was chosen to head the ■‘Red Rose Future Farmers of America for 1963 at a meet ing of the county chapte Mon day evening at Ephrata School.
