The Grange however, favors expan sion of trade in non-strategic goods and agriculture products and reaffirmed its strong sup port for tariff reductions includ ed in the Kennedy Round. The Grange also favors the adoption of new legislation to replace the expiring 1962 Trade Expansion Act The Grange opposes aid to countries “making appreciable assistance or sales of strategic materials to our enemies ” The Grange favors raising wheat price support to domestic price support levels for all wheat exported for foreign aid. The Grange favors adequate ap propriations for more farm pro ducts research and more rigid control of weeds and pests.
