Judge Brungardt gave the over-all grand championship to an Angus from Virginja, that was shown by Scott Mclntire, White Post. Mclntire’s entry headed the Summer Yearling Class (the largest class of the day and also the class from which the Lancaster 4-H’ers picked their winning county group). Reserve grand champion of the show was the second place steer in the same class for Glenn N. Lippy Jr., Littles town, Adams County. In the Hereford breed a pair of Virginia steers took top honors Daniel B. Wolfe, Ber ryville R 2, had the grand champion and Richard M. Blake, Waterford had the re serve grand champion.
