the contest altogether, he

seven contestants.
SCHEDULE
The plowing contest will be
gin at 10 a.m. While that is
running, there will be field day
activities underway on the ad

supervision of the county’s new
est extension staffer, Jay Irwin.
Also, at 1 p.m., a land judg
ing contest will be held, spon
sored by the county vocational
agriculture teachers. This will
be on contest open to anyone.
The windup event will be a
greased pig chase at 3 o’clock.
With a 50-pound gilt as the
winner’s prize, this competi
tion will be open to any young-
