There will be room for ten plowmen in the contest altogether, he said. Last year’s event had seven contestants. SCHEDULE The plowing contest will be gin at 10 a.m. While that is running, there will be field day activities underway on the ad joining farms of Louis Hurst and Stauffer. This will be under the supervision of the county’s new est extension staffer, Jay Irwin. Also, at 1 p.m., a land judg ing contest will be held, spon sored by the county vocational agriculture teachers. This will be on contest open to anyone.
