(Continued from Page 15) per pound than a similar cut of a lower quality. Valuable Papers Need Safe Storage There are some very impor tant papers which should be stored in a safe deposit box. Stocks, bonds, certificates, and negotiable securities need safe keeping. Property records, such as deeds, mortgages, and loans, and service records should al so be included. Insurance poli cies, birth and marriage certi ficates, and automobile titles should be safely filed. It’s also a good idea to include a signed copy of your will. Make an inventory of the contents of the safe deposit box, plus the location of the box and who has access to it, to keep at home. Keep this inventory up-to date. 4-H Club News KIRKWOOD 4-H COMMUNITY CLUB MEETS by Betty Jackson, reporter The second meeting of the Kirkwood 4-H Community Club was held May 17 in the Bart- Coleram Elementary School, Eight new members were pre sent. County Council was discuss ed and representatives were elected. They are: Bill Jack son and Dennis Allen. Assistant county agent, Har vey Gipe, discussed projects with the younger members, and later showed slides which he obtained in Holland as an International Foreign Ex change Youth. Refreshments were served by the Farm Women Group No. 15 after the meeting was ad journed. The next meeting will be held June 21, 8:0(1 p m. in the Bart-Colerain School. BAST 4-H SEWING CLUB ORGANIZES by Betty Jackson, reporter The first meeting of the Bart 4-H Sewing Club was held May 13 at the home of Mrs. James Smeltz, leader. The fol lowing officers were elected: president - Gwen Walton; vice president - Dorothy Walton; secretary - Pamela Smeltz; news reporter - Betty Jackson; game leader - Teresa Walton; song leader - Beatrice Groff; and County Council represen tative - Joan Welk. The Bart 4-H Club queens are Emily Groff and Betty Jack son Proiect requirements and materials were discussed with the different age groups. The second meeting of the Bart 4-H Sewing Club was held May 27 at the home of the leader, Mrs James Smeltz. The meeting was conducted by the vice president Dorothy Walton. Mrs. Smeltz discussed Dress Review, and Junior Leadership with the older members while club assistants, Mrs Donald Groff and Mrs Kern Woerth, discussed projects and good grooming with the younger members. Junior leaders are; Pam Smeltz, Beatrice Groff, Dorothy Walton, and Ann Wal ton. The next meeting is to be held June 16, 1:00 p.m. at the home of Mrs Smeltz.
