Plans were made to attend 4-H Clothing Roundup August 18 at Penn Manor High 'School. Final plans were made for a tea and fashion show to be held at the high school on August 17 at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded at that time to the two girls selling the largest amount of light bulbs in the current campaign. The mothers of junior and senior club members are invited to at tend. P. L. Rohrer & Bro., Inc., will contribute prizes for the fashion Show. Tentative plans were made to visit Christ’s Children’s Home at Paradise with favors and games for the children as the club’s community pro ject. Final plans will be made at the tea. It was announced that Nan cy Risser, junior leader, left for Penn State on Monday to participate in vegetable judg ing at State 4-H Days, PENRYN-ELM CLUB MEETS by Carla Buchter, reporter The Penryn-Elm 4-H Com munity Club decided at a re cent meeting to hold a fashion show on August 17. All moth ers of members are invited. It was also decided to hold a two-day picnic at Eugene Buchter’s cabin in Perry Coun ty on August 23-24. To raise money for the picnic, the Club had a bake sale which was veiy successful.
