The council will conduct a 1965 statewide Forage Prog ress Day at Hershey on Au gust 27. Having the two events at the same location and on suc cessive days, it was explained, will suit the convenience of commercial exhibitors and other persons interested in both affairs. The forage and plowing pro grams will be held on the 10,- 000 acre M S. Hershey Estate Faims, and at a location that has marked the site of other similar activities in recent years. Honoraiy plowmen titles were voted by the committee for Daniel W. Rumler, host faimer at the 1964 contest; his farm manager, Paul R. Keafer, and John Z. Shearer, PA. GRASSLAND CONFERENCE SET The sth Annual Pennsylvan ia Grassland Conference will be held in the assembly room at the Nittany Lion Inn, State College, Pa on November 23 - 24, 1964. An excellent meeting has been planned for the two-day affair with top authorities on hand to discuss all phases of grassland faiming.
