Certificate Needed To Sell Christmas Trees The State Agiiculture De partment warned persons plannrng to sell Chrrstmas trees that a dealer’s certifrcate is re quired for the sale of living trees or any living plant those with roots in pots, balls, baskets or in burlap. The restriction comes under the Plant Pest Act and is de signed to assure buyers healthy plants that are free of pests and disease, according to State Agriculture Secretary Leland H Bull. Certificates may be obtained, he said, at no cost from the Pennsylvania Department of Agucultiue, Bureau of Plant Industdy. Those obtaining certi ficates, however, are required by law to handle only certified stock. Henry F.
