32—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, September 5, 1964 the Lancaster County Swine Producers The Lancaster County Swine Pioducers Association will conduct a carcass show as part ol their Fall piogram This will be held in coniunction with the Lampeter Fair All exhibitors must be, or must become, membeis of the Swine Association Member ship tee is $lOO Each mem bei may enter only one hog oi gilt in this show due to limited facilities All hogs must weigh between 180 and 200 pounds Any hog which is not within this weight lange will be slaughteiod and evalu ated but will not compete in the contest Each exhibitoi will leceive a copy of all caicass data when such infoimation is compiled All pigs must be at the Swine Tent on Lampeter Fair Grounds by 5 pm, Thursday, September 24 The on-foot evaluation will follow at 630 to 730 pm This will be con ducted by a livestock special ist The hogs will be slaugh teied the following day at the Kunzlei & Co plant in Lan castei The caicass evaluation will be done on Saturday, September 26, by University Meat Specialists The Kunzler Co will pay exhibitois the cm rent maiket puce for their hogs The deadline for entnes is September 19 Any member who w'ants to paiticipate in this show' should mail a SI 00 entiy fee to James Z Mar tin RD -1 Chustiana.
