—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, May 23, 1964 6 Allied Mills Buys Land Tract For Expansion In Industrial Park Allied Mills, Inc., of Chicago, manufacturers of Wayne live stock and poultry feeds, has purchased a 3Vz acre tract in the new Lancaster-Hempfield Industrial Park. Allied officials completed the purchase of the tract last week for $18,1140 and announced plans to construct a feed dis tribution center and warehouse employing albout 23 persons. Construction of the plant, es timated to cost in excess of a quarter million dollars, -is ex pected to start in June. Allied Mills has operated a Wayne Feeds district sales of fice at 11 N. Duke 'St. for ap proximately 15 years Conley C. Bowers, district sales manager in charge of the office, and his staff will move to the new building when it is completed next fall.
