Cuba Threatens Germ Warfare HARRISBURG Reports ■fey a Cuban refugee scientist that Cuba is considering bac teriological warfare against the United States today prompted State Agriculture Secretary LeCand H. Bull to issue an alert on any such develop ments. Secretary Bull immediately notified all veterinarians nr the state. Hr asked that informa tion on any exotic disease out break among the state’s farm livestock be relayed immed iately to his office or the de partment’s district offices. His action followed release of a commercial press dispatch from Miami, Fla , in which the scientist, Oscar Alcade Ledon, told of the threat Alcade said that just before he - fled Cuba recently, Capt. Antonio Nunez Jimenz, head of the Cuban Academy of Science, told him: "The Americans are making bacteriological war against the communists in Southeast Asia. The Cuban government is pre paring to give the Americans some of their own medicine.” Alcade is a former head of the Academy.
