Fresh Holstein cows brought $275-425; Guernseys $l5O-250, and other breeds $l5O-275. Stock bulls brought $l4O-210, and stock heifers brought $65- 180. At the August 12 horse sale, the 211 head sold at steady prices. Pony mares sold for $5O-110, and Geldings were $35- 120. Riding horses brought $lOO-235 and driving horses were $lOO-230. Killers were 7 to 7Vfc cents a pound. The 410 hogs at the August 12 auction sold 25 higher. ‘ Re tail hogs to local butchers brought 19.75 to 21. Grades 1 to 3 to the packers sold for 19- 19.60. Heavyweight hogs were 18 25-18.85 and sows brought 'l3 to 16. Calves sold steady to 1.00 higher at the August 12 sale.
