LANCASTER POULTRY . Broiler Prices Are Down Live broiler prices dropped more than a cent a pound from the previous week at the July 11 auction at the Lancaster Poultry Center. A total of 94,- 000 birds in 16 lots sold at prices ranging from 16.3 to 17.2 for a sale average of 16.- 48. The previous week’s sale, postponed to Friday py the fourth of July holiday, ranged 17.4 to 17.7 on 72,050 head in 17 lots. At Thursday’s sale a lot of 1,150 leghorn fowl brought -10 cents a pound. Two lots of 5,540 heavy fowl brought 14 and 14.4, while two lots containing 1,650 roasters sold for 19 cents. The complete sale offered 103,995 head in 22 lots and sold 102,705 head in 21 lots.
