LANCASTER POULTRY CENTER - Steady On Light Volume Broiler prices dropped' frac tionally on light volume at the March 14 auction at the Lan caster Poultry Center. Only 30,300 broilers in seven Iqts were sold. Prices ranged from 16 8 to 18.7 for a sale average of 17.22. The previous week’s average was 17.37. Seven lots including 7,907 pullets brought 26 5 to 27 3 while two lots ot crossbied pullets brought 28.4 for the 2,200 head. A lot of 1,500 hea vy fowl brought 20 6 and two lots of changed hands at 25 to 25.1. ' The complete sale offered 51,525 head in 22 lots and sold, 44,025 head in 19 lots.
