This first calf heifer produced 75.2 lbs. of milk per day on her first test The 28 cow Blossomelle herd, owned by Mr. and Mrs Herbert Royer of Lancaster, has a 1961 HIR average of 14,270 lbs. milk, 541 lbs. of butterfat, 2X. This fine production average is an ex cellent tribute to the Royers’ dairy management ability The Royers earned the Progressive Breeders award in 1961 . . only eight years after starting dairying in 1953.
