Future Farmers To Go To Convention A contingent of 60 Future Farmers from the county are making plans for a three day trip to The Pennsylvania State University next, month, Thomas Malin, area advisor of FFA said Monday night. Making the trip with the boys will be 12 teachers of vocational agriculture and one guid ance counsellor from county high schools The future farmers will be participating in the annual FFA week activities held each June. Program for the three days will include judg ing contests, educational demonstrations by university specialists, athletic contests, FFA member band and chor us concerts and the annual convention of the State As sociation of Future Farmers of America The area softball team will be out to return the trophy to ' the Gardenspot. Local teams have been consistent winners in the sport, but lost possession of the trophy last year. Malin, advisor of York and Lancaster county chap ters of FFA, reported that 107 students and 22 adults from the two counties will make the migration over Seven Mountains come June 13.
