Brol’ers cleared well at slightly lower prices. Estimated slaughter by eas tern shore processors for the ween end was 910000 head compared to the 738,000 head last week end. Prices and sales reported in Delmarva during the 24- hour period ending 10:30 on Friday morning ranged from 14.50 to 15.50 for 873,000 head with over half the sales between 15 and 15 4. The Delmarva broiler-feed ratio for the week ending on April 7 dropped two points from the previous week to 34. Broilers averaged 15.86 per pound and mash cost $94.02 per ton. For the cor responding week last year the ratio was 39, when brokers brought 1810 and mash cost $92 66 per ton.
