Cream shortening and sug

Mix cornstarch, brown
sugar and salt. Combine with
a little of the crushed pine
apple; blend well. Add re

stirring constantly until
thick and clear Remove
from heat; stir in orange
peel and butter. Cool slight
ly. Line a 9-inch pie pan with
