Estimated slaughter for the week end by eastern shore processors is 707,000 head compared to the 761,000 head last week end. The De’marva broiler-feed ratio for the week end.ng on September 23 was steady with the previous week at 3.- 6 when broilers averaged 15 - 96 per pound and mash cost $B9 76 per ton. The ratio dur ing the same week a year ago was 3 5 but six months ago, the ratio was 4.0, with', broilers at 18 02 and mash at $91.22 per ton.
