Herds Tie For First Place In DHIA The herds of Paul Zimmer man, Ephrata HI and E Ed win Parkin, Peach Bottom R 2 each posted a record of 55 pounds of butterfat per cow to tie for top record in the Red Rose Dairy Improve ment Association during February. The Zimmerman herd of 25 registered Hoistems aver aged 1,446 lbs of milk and 55 lbs. of fat with 3 8% test. The Parkin herd of 21 cows made its record on an aver age of 1,363 lbs of milk with a 4 0% test. In second place with an average of 1,319 lbs. of milk, 53 lbs of butterfat and a 4.- 0% test was the herd of 20 grade and registered Hol stexns owned by Mervin Her shey, Bainbridge Rl. for the B A L E R
