The members of the Co

class went to Tom Wingen

game shelter out of rocks,
old trees, sticks, and brush.
They put brush in the front
of the shelter so the preda

able to spring a surprise at
tack on game animals while
they are feeding. They put
I'ood in the shelter for the
game.
The committee also took
orders for seedlings for the
Pennsylvania game commis

boys that ordered 3,365 se

homo farm this spring. They
plant them for hedge rows,
iii waste land, for Christ
mas trees, along the border
of wood land, on stream and
road banks and other plac
es.
BIG EWES. BIG LAMBS
If you want to know how
big your next year’s lambs
will be, take a look at your
yearling ewes just before
breeding -season. Frank
Krenzberger, Penn State ex
tension livestock specialist,
explains that the heavier the
weight of yearling ewes at
breeding season, - the heavier
will be their lambs.
