At DelMarVa Trading was moderate at Delmarva most of the week with broilers opening at pri ces tanging from" 13.70 thru 17.0 cents. Toward the end of the week the offerings were decreased, but demand was only fair. Trading dosed Friday with 781,900 head going at prices of 14.50 to 15.75. Estimated slaughter for the weekend is 615.000 head. Delmarva 'broiler-feed ra tio for the week ending Oct. 2 was 3.4. This is a drop of one point from the 3.5 ratio of last week. Broilers averag ed 14.49 this week and mash sold for $85.80 per ton. Ra tio for the comparable week a year ago was 3.5 when the broilers brought 16.42 and feed cost $94.74. Georgia closed with 1,530,- 000 head at prices ranging from 13.50 to 14.50 with most sales at 13.5.
