The American Farmer de gree, based on the applican t’s farming program, his lea dership activities in both the FFA. and community organi zations, and Ins " scholastic standing, is awarded annual ly to approximately one boy per 1,000 membership. Boose, the only-married member of the group is en gaged in farming on the hal ves on a 75 acre farm where hq raises steers, corn, wheat, hay, tobacco, capons and lay ers. A 1956 graduate, Boose received the Keystone Farm er degree at the state con tention during the Farm Sh ow at Harrisburg in January. His net worth is reported to be $12,000. Mrs. Boose is the former Eileen Becker.
