For the nine North Central Corn Belt states, the num ber on feed on April 1 total ed 4,262,000, less than one per cent below Jan 1 and four per cent above April 1, 1958. For the 21 stales in which most of the cattle feeding is done, the number on feed to taled 5,854,000 on April 1, six per cent below January. In Penna, 20 per cent of the total for 30,000 head were over 900 lbs, 29 per cent 700 - 900 lbs and six per cent were under 500 lbs Lancaster County’s six outstanding 4-H Tractor Club members were honored re cently at a -banquet-meeting of the County Farm Equip ment Dealers’ Assn J. Following a brief business session, a square dance pro gram is planned by the club. Instructors will be available, according to Janet Risser, club secretary The Club has also sched uled a roller skating party at Rocky Springs on May t>.
