Lemon rind 1 cup boiling water 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 teaspoons butter or mar garine Pare lemon thinly. Steep par ings in boiling water. Mix corn syrup, cornstarch, and add water in which rind has been steeped. Cook on’low heat until thickened Add juice, butter or margarine. Seems as if we’re leaning to wards a spicy flavor today. SHERMAN .PUDDING L’'2 cups all-purpose enriched flour 1 teaspon soda ts teaspoon salt 1 cup raisins 1 cup molasses 1 egg, beaten 1 cup hot water 1 tablespoon butter or mar garine Sift flour with soda and salt.
