Thursday night The directors felt that such a show at this time would over-tax tne capacabilitres of the new orga r 'zation Bulk of the discussion at the meeting centered around the Feb 22 gilt sale being sponsored by iht association Sale committee chairman Earl Fisher said that entries had been received for a* out 15 gilts and 9 boars with more being expected shortly The association has advertised that 40 gilts and 10 boars will be of fered Fisher said that gilts to be sold should be at the Martin Sale Barn in Blue Ball by 10 a m. the day of the sale The order of sale will be delemmed by lot Plans for the annual meeting vcre discussed The meeting, a dinner, is scheduled for 6 30 p m March 27 at the Blue Ball Fire Hall The dinner tickets will be S 2 each J I Hoffman, secretary of the Coatesville YMCA, was engaged to show films of Canadian Bock les and the Calgery, Alb, Stam pede as entertainment for the event The barrow show is now' sched uled for the third week of March next year. Competition provided by the state Livestock Exposition rules out the possibility of a fall show, and the directors feel that not enough experience m running a barrow show is available now to make such an event as interesting as it should be.
