(LF Photo) Martin Witman Wins Second Title In County Level Land Plow Contest For the second consecutive year, Martin Witman, Rl Mariet ta, won the level land plowing contest neld in coniunction with <he Mt Jov Fair Second was Mrs Raymond E Miller, Rl Denver Witman was sixth in the state contest at Hershey this summer To win the contest, he drove an Allis Chalmers WD 45 pulling an IHC Little Wonder plow This plow was one of the earliest that was made for ti actor use, and is no longer in production Witman now uses it only for plowing contests. He also had it equiped with cover boards, which, he said, make a real difference in the finished job. The runner-up, Mrs. Miller, is eligible to compete next summer at Hershey in the contpur con test. She is the mother of a three year old son, Galen Ray. She and her husband, operate a 70 acre general farm. To win the contest, she drove a CA Allis Chalmers with a mounted two-share 14 inch plow. Mrs. Miller beat out her hus band by 2 9 points.
