Total farm marketings are re ported to be down slightly from a year ago, mostly due to small er sales of hogs, but prices aver aged four per cent higher. Livestock receipts of 3.9 bil lion during the first quarter were up six per cent due ito increases for cattle, hogs, and dairy pro ducts, but crop receipts, at 2% billion, were down slightly from last year, mostly due to smaller marketings from last year’s cot ton crop. _ LIVESTOCK SALES R F.
