The meet ing was held in Fetters School in Clay Twp. Mrs. Harold Fry teacher was the hostess. Some of the pupils entertained with poems, and songs. During the business meeting committees were appointed to arrange, for the Ward Party to be held June 30 at the Coates ville Veterans Hospital. At the next-meeting Society 1 will be entertained The members will again con duct a Farmers Market Booth at the Ephrata Hospital, Lawn Fete June 8. vA contribution of $5 was given to the Easter Seal Fund. Day Approximately 250 persons at tended the Landis Bros, field day Tuesday held at the Abram Kmesly farm near Silver Spring on the Marietta Pike. Featured among the equip ment in use was the new John Deere Hay Conditioner. In ad dition to the hay conditioner there were six tractors with plows, transplanters and -disc harrows.
