The second report, covering pay ments through Sept. 28, showed a total of $18,087,212.76 dis bursed m the 39 States from which reports were received. In the final report on parti cipation in the 1956 Acreage Re serve program (USDA 2464-56) the maximum amount of pay ments farmers could earn by re maining in compliance with the program was placed at nearly $261 million. Since then, the De partment has authorized the ter mination or modification of 1956 Acreage Reserve agreements by farmers who misunderstood the terms of the program. This is the highest recog nition a Holstem sire can re ceive from the Holsteon-Friesian Association bf America. Of “Regal's"’ 17 daughters offi cially classified for type, three scored “Very Good”, the second highest rating obtainable.
