Business sessions of the
state Flying Farmers were
concluded before lunch, to
give the full afternoon for the
ceremonies and demonstra
tions. Five directorships were
filled, with Dave Huber of
Peach Bottom among the out
going directors. Elected were
Elmo Travis of Smicksburg;
Russell Pisor of Portersville,
for a one-year term; Gail Kim
mel of Enon Valley; Bob Jack
son; and Elwood Homan of
Pennsylvania Furnace.
Mr Kimmel was named olfi
cial Pennsylvania delegate to the
National Flying Farmers Asso
ciation convention in New Or
leans, which was concluded yes
terday.' Eight members indicated
they and their families would
represent the Keystone State at
New Orleans Otheis, especially
in the western part of the state,

A line of lime was spiead
across the landing strip for spot
landing contests Uneven ter

In the bombing contest,
where a paper sack of lime
was dropped from an altitude
of about 200 feet, aimed at a
cross mark on the lime strip,
Russ Pisor placed first. Bill
Richey second.

Show was excellent, despite
weather that made a swamp of
