I own a double house One of the tenants complains of wat er bugs all over the house The people on the other side say they see hardly any. The one tenant has asked me to pay a man every month for several months to spray the house Whose place is it to pay the man to spray? A. Such expenditures should be borne by the tenant. Unless the tenant can prove that the bugs are present because of the fault of the landlord, it is the tenant’s duty to exterminate them. * 4 Q. My brother, a wealthy re tired man, died two months ago without a will. His wife is living and does not have any children. Would we (one brother and three sisters) have any claim m this estate? Illlilillllllllililiillli ALL FARMERS Dress Pattern Size Variances Figured If you arc an in-between size and find it hard to select a dress pattern, follow these suggestions from Mae B. Barton, extension clothing specialist of the Penn sylvania State University. Choose a smaller size pattern if you like your clothes, to fit snugly. Choose a larger size if you like clothes to fit loosely. Check your measurement with those found on the back of the pattern envelope to be sure they are not too different. A. Assuming that the brother and sisteis are the closest living next-of-km, outside of the wife, and that the man died in Penn sylvania, the wife will receive the first $10,750 of the husband’s estate, plus one-half the re mainder. The other one-half of the remainder would be divided among the brother and sisters, share and share alike. B W. Q What legal action should I take if my landlord does not sup ply me with heat to which I am entitled according to my lease. A You could sue the landlord before a justice of the peace for breach of the lease agreement, or you would be justified in treat ing the heat failure as a breach of the lease by the landlord. Give the landlord reasonable notice that you are terminating the lease because of his breach, and then you are free to move out. H. Wormeck, exten sion nutritionist of the Pennsyl vania State University, points out that good quality in cherries is shown by bright appearance, plumpness, and good color. Cherries that have been bruis ed are not desirable, since mold develops readily at the point of injury. p a y~ - w th pacity... %c per mile Electric operating cost g tai j r Shank’s Garage 216 NEVIN STREET LANCASTER lilillliililliillllll mmm ill 3= | ■«£<«]' ji
