Tea Wagon May prove
Time Saver for Host
One way homemakers can save
time and energy is to bring their
old-fashioned tea wagon out in
the open-
Bonnie Dale Sansom, extension
home furnishings specialist of
the Pennsylvania State Univer
sity, suggests bringing the tea
wagon up-to-date with a coat of
paint or wax Homemakers can
use the converted tea wagon to
take glassware, dishes, silver
ware, and food to the dining
table. It serves a similar purpose
when it comes to clearing the
table after a meal, returning soil

Paints Take on New
Look Around Home
Good looking results with lit
tle effort are what modern paints
offer the home owner, points out
Bonnie Dale Sansom, extension
home furnishings specialist of
the Pennsylvania State Univer
sity
Most manufacturers make their
products with the do-it-yourself
market in mind. Modern paints
go on smoothly and the solid
color finish of painted walls can
be varied with designs or tex
tures. Today’s paints have high
hiding power and dry quickly,
can be washed clean of most soil
and marks, are durable, and keep
their color.
