Red Rose Four-H Youths Awarded 132 Steer Calves With the 1955 Southeastern District 4-H Baby Beef Show only recent history, Lancaster County youth iu the Red Rose 4-Baby Beef Club are already making plans for next year’s shows. Saturday 132 -members of the club received small steer calves at the New Holland Sales Stables, and during the coming year will feed them out and groom them for showing in the Southeastern' District Show, perhaps the East ern National in Timonium, Md., and possibly at the 1957 Penn sylvania Farm Show in Harris burg. M. M. Smith, Lancaster coun ty agricultural extension agent, reports 64 youths drew Angus, 57 Herefords and 11 Shorthorns.
