Each student selects one of the academic “prides.” (A pride is a group of lions — in this case, Penn State Nittany Lions.) A pride con- sists of two 3-credit courses with the same students in both. A student registered for one course within a BE A LION pride is automatically registered for both courses. Eye on Excellence is a new section of The Lion’s Eye that will be eatured throughout the semester. Along with Commencement, Eye on Excellence will be highlighting yearly events as EURECA, Leadership Recognition Night, Litapalooza, and others. Outside of these events, e would love to hear about people across our campus who go above - and beyond and celebrate excellence everyday in the work they do.
