With the promise of free food, music, and giveaways, students packed the Lion’s Den from wall to wall. The SGA took this time to explain what they do for the student body. They focused on the upcoming Blue and White Ball, that takes place on November 6th. The event will have food, a DJ, pictures, etc. The attire is semi formal and the tickets are ten dollars each. The proceedes from the ball will benefit THON and the March of Dimes. ~~ Rabhel Teklegiorgis (SGA Treasurer) plans to speak about Multicultural Day during the next SGA sound off, on Monday November 2nd. The SGA is working to expand that day into.a week long event, but they would require assistance from the Diversity Affairs Chair and Events Coordinator. They are also asking students to help, by joining the Multi- Cultural Week Committee and participating in the fashion/talent show, decorating for, and coordinating the event. ‘The SGA hopes to reach the student body through a plethora of advertising methods. They ask for students to pay attention to sidewalk chalk messages, Facebook messages, and the message boards around campus. As always, if you see SGA members on campus, they ask that you don’t hesi- tate to ask them any questions you might have.
