The devices will be used in case of an emer- gency when someone's heart stops beating. People who use them must be CPR certified, because this technique must be used before an AED. The AED also has built-in voice-activated instructions to guide any user. There will be two AEDs on campus, one in the Commons building near the gym and one in the security office in the Main building. Students looking to get certified in CPR and interested in learning more about AEDs on campus contact Barb Rostick (BAR15@psu.edu) in the Commons building or Dave Horevay of campus securityon the ground floor of the Main Building. Rostick also teaches a kinesiology class (Kins13) in which students can get CPR certifica- tion through the Red Cross. — BRIDGET MUNDY Fall Week sponsored by the SGA Fall Week, sponsored by the SGA, will be held the week of Nov. 15 through Nov. 19. Events will be held all week. Monday, there will be a Wing Bowl at common hour in the cafe- teria. Tuesday, the Reigning Starz Talent Show will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Classroom building lounge. Wednesday, the cafeteria will be turned into a casino from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Card games such as poker, war and more will be offered as well as prizes. Thursday is Multicultural Day and Friday 1s Club Night in the classroom building lounge in the evening. — JENNIFER RUFO Provost visits Delco campus Penn State University Provost Dr. Rodney Erickson will be meeting with students and stu- dent leaders of the Delaware County campus Wednesday, Nov. 3 to share information and hear from the student body. He will be accompanied by Dr. Diane Disney, dean of the Commonwealth College; Dr. Cheryl Glenn, administrative fellow to the Provost; and Monica Nachman, administrative assistant to the provost. The meeting will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Room 203 of the Commons building. Students are urged to attend. New ID cards can be picked up Effective yesterday, your new Penn State ID card was waiting for you at the Vairo Library front desk. oy Bring your current card or your driver's license or some other form of photo ID and you can get your new University ID card. (There will be no new cards for persons graduating in December 2004.) All students, faculty and staff can pick up their cards at their convenience. You need not wait in a line, the card will not be needed and cannot be used, before Dec. 20. However, if you pick up the new card prior to 5 p.m., Nov. 5, you will be entered into a University-wide raffle. There are about 25 prizes which include: a PDA, an MP3/walkman, a blanket, a sweatshirt, a football jersey, a quartz clock, a back pack, CD wallet, and T-shirts. Business administration degree on tap Changes to the bachelor of science in business offered at Penn State Delco will be effective in the fall of 2005. The updated degree, which will be known as the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, requires all incoming freshmen to have taken a half-unit of trigonometry in high school. Aside from course pre-requisites, the only requirement for entrance is a 2.0 GPA. Students who choose to work toward this major will be required to take Math 110. They will also have the choice to take one of two 18-credit options, marketing, or management, which prior to the fall of 2005 are only jointly offered as one option. The individualized option, however, will no longer be available. ‘Additionally, the internship for this major will only be offered through an elec- tive course. — ANYA TAKOS Craft show scheduled Nov. 14 This year's ninth annual Craft Show will be held Sunday Nov. 14. The Craft Show will take place in the school gymnasium from 10 a.m. to 4 .m. The show will sell everything from knick- knacks and jewelry to flower arrangements.
