President: Mike Hyde (current SGA Treasurer); Vice President: A.J. Russo (current SGA Secretary); Secretary: Pauline Ferzetti (current President, Photography Club); and Treasurer: Ken Napaver. : Elections were held January 30. Candidates gave speeches during the SGA meeting that day. Also running for office were Mike Moxley (President), Tom Flynn (Vice President), and Jason Shaw (Treasurer). SGA President Rita Verano explained, “The elections were held early this year to enable next year’s officers to become better acquainted with whom they will be working and to become more aware of the topics and tasks they’ll have to take on. Otherwise, they would need next semester for adjustment time. The early election allows them to be ready to go.” Rita added, “Thank you to the people who participated in the elections. I look forward to working with the future officers and wish them the best of luck.” Incoming SGA President Mike Hyde explained, “We plan to follow up the outstanding programs that the SGA presented this year, duplicating them, and if possible, improving upon them and to keep promoting school spirit. I'm looking forward to the chance to work with A.]., Pauline, and Ken for the next year and a half. I want to thank all of the people who came out and voted.” Newly elected Secretary Pauline Ferzetti said, “We are striving for stronger campus relations next year by uniting more campus activities.” A.J. Russo, winner of the Vice president race, said, “I would like to thank everyone for giving me the opportunity to serve as vice-president of the Delco SGA. We hope to put two good years back to back.” The new treasurer Ken Napaver, said, “We have a good team for next year.” Although the new SGA officers will not take office until May, they will be working closely with this year’s SGA officers in order to learn more about their respective offices and to be able to better establish a smoother transition.
